The Overseas collection expresses the spirit of exploration and openness to the world that has distinguished the Maison since its earliest years. In 2026, Vacheron Constantin presents four new references, Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points, entirely crafted in titanium.

These new timepieces follow in the footsteps of three models unveiled in 2019 and 2021. The first, an Overseas Dual Time prototype featuring a dark grey grained dial and a titanium case, was specially created for photographer and explorer Cory Richards and tested in extreme conditions during his ascent of Mount Everest. Two limited-edition Overseas «Everest» models followed in 2021, also crafted in titanium and directly inspired by the aesthetic of the prototype developed for Cory Richards: a Chronograph and a Dual Time model. The new Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points is offered in four distinct shades. The manufacture movement, Calibre 5110 DT/3 features the essential travel complications: dual time, day/night and date. The Geneva Hallmark stands as a prestigious testament to watchmaking, guaranteeing not only the precision and reliability of the timepiece but also, the quality of its traditional decorative finishes.

According to Cory Richards about this new Overseas series: “What resonates most deeply is the idea that we are constantly in motion. That’s what we as humans do by our very nature. Whether it’s an internal or external journey, it always leads us towards the cardinal points to guide our lives. And in doing so, we not only uncover the world, but also uncover ourselves through that action of exploration.”

DESIGNED TO WEATHER EVERY ADVENTURE The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points watches were conceived and designed to ensure not only a degree of robustness that can withstand extreme conditions but also supreme comfort on the wrist. The 41mm case, integrated bracelet and interchangeable folding clasp are all made from titanium, chosen for its lightness and strength. The distinctive aesthetic and high-performance qualities of titanium are heightened by a matte anthracite grey finish on the bezel, crown and pusher ring. It creates a subtle contrast that highlights the cutaway notches which echoes the shape of the Maltese Cross on the Overseas distinctive bezel. The new watch is offered in a choice of four dial colours, each representing one of the cardinal compass points on and a different landscape to be explored: white represents the frozen North; brown suggests the continents and vast plains of the South; green represents West, evoking deep forests and tropical jungles; and blue symbolises a journey to the Eastern horizon where ocean and sky meet. A closer look at the dial invites the slow discovery of its details, with a mix finishes bringing depth and sophistication. The grained centre dial adds textural interest and minimises reflection, contrasting with the play of light on the snailed finish of the date counter. This subtle game of textures is enhanced by the two concentric circles that surround the dial, each with a different finish: circular satin finish on the inner minutes track and lacquer on the external seconds track, on which numerals mark every five seconds – a reminder of the importance of precision and planning in challenging environments. The orange hands that indicate the second time zone and the AM/PM function bring a dash of contrast to each dial, underlining the watches’ sporty character.

A CALIBRE THAT INVITES TRAVEL The sapphire crystal caseback invites to discover the mechanism – manufacture self-winding calibre 5110 DT/3 developed with travellers’ needs in mind and enabling simultaneous reading of two time zones. In addition to the classic local-time indications, an arrow-tipped orange hand displays the original (home) time, coupled with a matchingcoloured day/night indicator. The pointer-type date display at 6 o’clock is synchronised with local time, which can be adjusted by a dedicated pusher. The two time zones on 12 o’clock can be adjusted by turning the crown in either direction. A dark grey NAC treatment on the bridges echoes the colour of the titanium case and contrasts with the colour of some visible elements of the gear train and with the 22K 3N yellow gold winding rotor, which features the signature Overseas compass rose.

Among these finishes, perlage is applied across the mainplate, extending even to the underside – a detail that, though unseen once the movement is cased, underscores an unwavering commitment to perfection and hidden beauty. Complementing this, the visible bridges are adorned with the distinctive Côtes de Genève that catches the light and adds depth. In addition to these finishes, the hand-bevelling involves meticulously chamfering and polishing the edges of components, creating brilliant facets that highlight their contours. All of these finishes demonstrate the artisans savoir-faire, some being invisible once the watch is assembled, and others visible through the transparent caseback.

ONE WATCH, THREE STYLES Designed as a truly travel companion, the Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points watch features an integrated, interchangeable titanium bracelet with a three-blade folding clasp. It incorporates the collection’s signature «Easy-fit» system, allowing for quick adjustments without removing any links. Two rubber straps with interchangeable titanium folding clasp complete the offering: one orange with a texture inspired by the Maltese cross, the other matching the dial color with a textured pattern. Each strap can be changed in seconds without tools. The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points watches are available exclusively from Vacheron Constantin’s boutiques worldwide.

His artistic inspirations include Chinese meticulous art, Ukiyo-e, the Bauhaus, Dürer, Jean Giraud, and Eduardo Paolozzi.
