The Beginning
Roger Federer's timeless elegance and sustained excellence taught me that true greatness never needs to shout. From founding iW Magazine Chinese Edition, to launching THE WATCH MAGAZINE and The Mainstream in Hong Kong, to serving as Founding Publisher of aBlogtoWatch (ABTW) Chinese Edition — I have spent over two decades in watch media. Those years took me from the editor's desk to the advisory boards of independent watch brands, from the press centers of Geneva to closed-door collector dinners. I watched this industry shift from craft and heritage to traffic and content marketing. When "soft editorial" became the norm and every new release was packaged as "groundbreaking," I knew it was time for a different voice. The GOAT Watch was not created to chase a trend. It was created because there was no other choice.

CREDENTIALS & ACHIEVEMENTS
My work has never strayed far from the center of horology: • Publisher, iW Magazine Chinese Edition • Founder & Publisher, THE WATCH MAGAZINE and The Mainstream, Hong Kong • Founding Publisher, aBlogtoWatch (ABTW) Chinese Edition • Watch Consultant, multiple independent watch brands These roles taught me one thing: the people who truly understand watches rarely hold the microphone. Every article on The GOAT Watch draws from these years of insider observation — not commentary from the sidelines, but perspective from inside the room. I do not need a brand invitation to validate my stance. My stance comes from having seen too much of what happens behind closed doors.

THE VISION
The GOAT Watch is not a blog. It is not a KOL stage. It is a curated platform built on the rigorous editorial standards of international watch publications — minus the advertising department. No trend-chasing. No advertorials. No marketing rhythm. I care about one thing only: does this timepiece deserve to be remembered? We honor classics and filter out hype. We feature watches with genuine legacy, not seasonal social currency. Whether you are a seasoned collector, a new enthusiast, or an industry peer, there is only one standard here: honesty. To me, the ultimate meaning of a watch is not its price tag. It is whether it can withstand the test of time — and of a long, unblinking look. The GOAT Watch only covers timepieces that can survive both.
