Vacheron Constantin Presents L'ATELIER 1755, a New Milestone in the Heart of Central, Hong Kong

Vacheron Constantin is delighted to announce the opening of L'ATELIER 1755, the Maison's new immersive concept space located in the historic Pedder Building in Central, Hong Kong. Named after the year founder Jean-Marc Vacheron signed his first apprenticeship contract, L'ATELIER 1755 is dedicated to sharing horological knowledge, craftsmanship and a passion for Haute Horlogerie, bridging the Maison's Geneva heritage with Hong Kong's rich cultural landscape.

The new space opens with its inaugural exhibition, "The Golden Hour: Art, Innovation, and Horology of the 1920s", celebrating a pivotal era of creativity, design and watchmaking innovation. L'ATELIER 1755 will present a rolling programme of exhibitions and activations with archival treasures and horological masterpieces — testaments to the Maison's relentless pursuit of excellence — perpetuating tradition while drawing inspiration from the arts and cultures of the world, transforming them into contemporary creative expression.

The 1920s was an era of dizzying momentum and cultural liberation. As society broke free of Victorian constraints, the Roaring Twenties ignited a modern world of jazz, soaring skylines and radical new fashions. To keep pace with this fast-moving lifestyle, watchmaking underwent a historic evolution: the great transition from the pocket to the wrist. From the bold geometric lines of Art Deco to the opulent craftsmanship of hidden "secret" jewellery watches, these timepieces did far more than measure the passing hours — they defined the modern age, capturing a rebellious decade where timekeeping truly became an art form.

Inside the atelier, a dedicated craftsmanship space hosts demonstrations and hands-on experiences throughout the year.
