A year of firsts continues for Jacob & Co. and its brand ambassador Alexander Zverev, who has captured his second career Grand Slam title at the 146th edition of the US Open. Following his victory over Ben Shelton in New York, Zverev accepted the US Open Championship Trophy wearing Jacob & Co.'s 'The World Is Yours' Dual Time Zone Tourbillon.

The original collection that opened the world of watchmaking to Jacob Arabo, it is inspired by a vintage watch that became an Arabov family heirloom. Its dual time zone function features two independently adjustable sub-dials displaying separate hours and minutes, allowing the wearer to track two time zones simultaneously.

Throughout his championship run, Zverev played with a piece-unique, customised Jacob & Co. Epic X Skeleton, lightened for on-court play and presented on an elastic performance band. Powered by the JCAA45 calibre, the timepiece pairs its dual time zone complication with a central 30-second tourbillon beneath a sapphire bridge, finished with the collection's signature compass rose. Crafted in 18K rose gold with a blued titanium dial, stamped continents in rose gold finish and a blue alligator leather strap, it is limited to 199 pieces worldwide, priced at USD 280,000.
