Rolex and Phillips Raise £37.3 Million at Charity Auction of Four Unique Gem-Set Cosmograph Daytona Watches

Four exclusive, gem-set versions of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona were auctioned individually by Phillips' Senior Consultant Aurel Bacs in London on 28 September 2026, achieving £37,300,000 (US$49,467,260). Organised in partnership with Phillips, all proceeds benefit the Federer Foundation, founded by Roger Federer to champion early and foundational learning for children across Southern Africa and Switzerland, and Re:wild, co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio, which protects and restores wild ecosystems around the world. The total marks the single largest consignment to a charity auction ever.

The four unique timepieces each embody a different season through a combination of precious metals, natural stones, coloured gemstones and diamonds. The Cosmograph Daytona Winter — reference 126596 SABV in 950 platinum, with a dial crafted from blue opal and counters in lapis lazuli, and a bezel set with 36 trapeze-cut sapphires in a blue-to-fuchsia gradient — sold for £10,000,000.

The Cosmograph Daytona Spring (ref. 126599 SAVL) pairs an 18 ct white gold case with a chrysoprase dial and lepidolite counters, its bezel set with purple sapphires. It sold for £6,800,000.

The Cosmograph Daytona Summer (ref. 126595 SARO) in 18 ct Everose gold features a turquoise dial with counters in heart of ruby and a bezel of pink sapphires, achieving the evening's top price of £10,300,000.

The Cosmograph Daytona Autumn (ref. 126598 TML) in 18 ct yellow gold carries a mookaite dial with chrysoprase counters and a bezel set with green tourmalines, selling for £10,200,000. All four are powered by calibre 4131 and Superlative Chronometer certified. No buyer's premium applied: all proceeds go to the Federer Foundation and Re:wild.
