MONTBLANC UNVEILS ITS NEW PACIFIC PLACE FLAGSHIP BOUTIQUE IN HONG KONG
By JiangEvent

Montblanc has unveiled its newly reimagined flagship boutique at Pacific Place in Hong Kong, introducing the Maison's latest retail concept and reinforcing its position as the "Haus of Writing". Jean-Sébastien Gerondeau, President of Montblanc South Asia, officiated the opening ceremony with Riccardo Chan, Montblanc Brand Director of Hong Kong and Macau.
Singer Ian Chan, director and singer Juno Mak, actor Terrance Lau, actress Angela Yuen and singer Cloud Wan were invited to attend and witness the milestone.

A New "Haus of Writing" Destination
Montblanc opened its first global standalone boutique at Pacific Place in Admiralty in 1990. Today it offers luxury writing instruments, leather goods, timepieces and men's accessories, and this year it unveils a new design concept that brings together the Maison's heritage, craftsmanship and passion for writing while honouring the culture and history of Hong Kong.
Celebrating Craftsmanship Through Design
The striking façade carries the Maison's iconic black-and-white palette, inspired by the Montblanc Haus museum at its Hamburg headquarters. An illuminated mountain silhouette of the Mont Blanc massif is the focal point of the exterior.
Inside, guests are welcomed by a gifting area conceived by Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta, showcasing the season's latest creations. Paper chandeliers pay tribute to the Maison's longstanding connection to paper and writing, and a curated gifting wall pairs leather goods with writing instruments. A newly introduced postbox invites guests to share handwritten notes and letters.

Inspired by Hong Kong's Cultural Heritage
The boutique celebrates local culture throughout. A gold-toned carpet and lounge area nod to the city's vibrant energy and cosmopolitan glamour. The VIP lounge features fluted glass doors inspired by Montblanc's iconic ink bottles, while wall motifs borrow the traditional coin-shaped emblems of Hong Kong's historic post boxes, symbolising prosperity and good fortune. Paper lamps take inspiration from the Hong Kong orchid tree, the source of the city's official flower, the bauhinia.

Exclusive Hong Kong Creations
To celebrate the reopening, Montblanc presents exclusive creations inspired by Hong Kong, available for pre-order at the Pacific Place boutique. The Meisterstück Fountain Pen and Notebook Gift Set pairs a Meisterstück 149 with an Au750/18K gold nib, engraved with the iconic Dukling Chinese sailing junk and the inscription "Pacific Place", with the Hong Kong Edition Cityline Notebook, a leather notebook embossed with "Hong Kong", the skyline and the Dukling motif, a tribute to the city's journey from fishing port to international metropolis.
Also exclusive to the flagship is the latest Fall/Winter 2026 leather collection, including the Montblanc Envelope Horizontal Tote in suede, with magnetic side pockets, a pen loop and an eyewear compartment, in Ebony and Honey tones. The Writing Traveler collection adds new briefcases and crossbody bags in bauxite-coloured Corteccia sfumato leather and black grain leather, with interior compartments designed for creators and business travellers.
