Jaeger-LeCoultre Introduces the 101 Secrets in Pink Gold and Pink Sapphires

Hong Kong, 18 September 2026 — Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces a dazzling new High Jewellery expression of the 101 Secrets watch, pairing the world's smallest rectangular manually wound mechanical movement with 18k pink gold, pink sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds. The new interpretation will be produced in a limited edition of three pieces.

Calibre 101 is a landmark in the history of miniaturisation. Created in 1929 on the two-level Duoplan architecture, the movement originally comprised 74 parts in a volume of just 0.2 cm³ and weighed barely one gram. Its dimensions and architecture remain unchanged today, while the fifth-generation calibre now counts 98 parts, each custom-produced and adjusted. Only a handful of watchmakers, working in a dedicated atelier, have ever mastered its assembly — a process requiring some 40 hours per movement, with production limited to a few dozen pieces each year.

The new 101 Secrets draws on the Maison's heritage of secret watches from the mid-20th century, when hinged covers concealed the dial until the wearer chose to reveal it. Its double rivière bracelet is set with 124 pink sapphires of approximately 16.39 carats, graduated in 10 sizes and seven shades from intense cyclamen to barely-there blush, separated by a band of grain-set white diamonds. The gem-setting totals 904 brilliant-cut diamonds of approximately 13.26 carats and required 163 hours of work in the Métiers Rares™ atelier at the heart of the Manufacture.
