HAUTLENCE SPHERE SERIES 5: TIME IN A NEW LIGHT

NEUHAUSEN AM RHEINFALL, 20 October 2026 — With the Sphere Series 5, HAUTLENCE introduces a fresh interpretation of one of its most distinctive creations. Limited to 28 pieces, its mesmerising three-dimensional jumping-hour display is reimagined in pure white. The Sphere Series 5 makes its debut at SIAR with its special Mexico Edition, bringing new clarity to one of HAUTLENCE's most unconventional expressions of time.

Behind the Snow White Sphere's pure, restrained appearance lies a complex mechanical display in constant motion. Like its predecessors, hours are not pointed to, but revealed by a sculptural sphere rotating on three axes, while the minutes trace their path across a 180° retrograde display.

For this new edition, white brings a sense of clarity to the composition, drawing attention to the shapes, volumes and open architecture of the watch. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium, the spherical hour display features engraved numerals filled with grey Super-LumiNova®. Its rotation is driven by a system of four conical gears arranged around two crossed axes inclined at 21 degrees, turning each change of hour into a three-dimensional expression of time.

Designed and assembled in HAUTLENCE's workshops, the hand-wound A82 calibre offers a minimum 72-hour power reserve. It is housed within HAUTLENCE's distinctive rectangular titanium case, offering water resistance to 10 ATM. A white suede strap, paired with a lightweight titanium folding clasp, completes the composition. Soft in texture and deliberately minimal in appearance, it extends the Snow White aesthetic onto the wrist while contrasting with the technical character of the titanium case.

MEXICAN DEBUT — The Sphere Series 5 makes its world premiere at the Salón Internacional de Alta Relojería (SIAR) in Mexico City, presented in partnership with Attila Distribution. For its first 30 days, the timepiece remains strictly exclusive to the Mexican market, delivered in a dedicated presentation package created solely for this release. Housed in a custom white exhibition case, each Mexican allocation includes three interchangeable suede straps in intense green, pure white and vibrant red. While total production of the Sphere Series 5 is capped at 28 pieces worldwide, all subsequent international deliveries outside this debut window will be configured exclusively with the single white suede strap.

This release represents an open declaration of affection and long-term commitment to Mexico, a country that welcomed HAUTLENCE with genuine passion from the very beginning. Mexican collectors possess a distinct, powerful identity: intensely knowledgeable, intellectually curious and driven by an exploratory, almost rebellious appetite for independent watchmaking, looking past predictable status symbols, gravitating instead towards kinetic innovation, sculptural audacity and genuine attitude.

This instinct is an authentic reflection of Mexican cultural identity: a heritage forged in monumental scale, profound artistic tension and an innate refusal to conform. HAUTLENCE recognises that exact pulse. By offering its most radical three-dimensional creation to Mexico before the rest of the world, HAUTLENCE celebrates that daring spirit, strengthening an enduring relationship built on mutual respect and a shared love for unconventional horology.

Founded in 2004, HAUTLENCE — whose name itself is an anagram of Neuchâtel — pays tribute to the birthplace of the watchmaking art. With an annual production of around 200 pieces, the brand has nine calibres designed and developed in-house, and can count on the support of MELB Holding, an independent family watchmaking group, since 2012. HAUTLENCE pushes the boundaries of traditional watchmaking codes, uniting them with innovative mechanical solutions and an unlimited universe borrowed from the various arts, combining design, architecture, and movement to create new approaches to time display.
