BVLGARI AT GENEVA WATCH DAYS 2026: TITANIUM OPENS NEW HORIZONS IN WATCHMAKING

From September 2nd to 4th, BVLGARI participates in Geneva Watch Days — one of the most anticipated events in the watchmaking calendar — with three creations that elevate titanium far beyond a material: an artistic signature, a deliberate choice, a constant running through the entire 2026 offering of the Maison, including at the heart of the Octo Finissimo 37, its landmark novelty of the year. The Octo Finissimo Dual Time × Vianney Halter marks a first — a collaboration on the movement itself, bringing together BVLGARI's manufacture expertise and Vianney Halter's singular mechanical universe, in limited editions made to be collected. The Octo Finissimo Dazzle transforms titanium into a surface of illusion, laser-engraved in a striking optical play. BVLGARI Titanio completes the trio by reinterpreting the Aluminium collection between everyday lightness and precision. Three expressions, one common thread: titanium — for BVLGARI, far more than a material: a manifesto.

Since 2014, it has become one of the Maison's most distinctive creative languages, allowing us to rethink proportions, sensations on the wrist, and the very expression of contemporary watchmaking. The creations we are presenting at Geneva Watch Days each explore a different facet of that philosophy. OCTO FINISSIMO DUAL TIME × VIANNEY HALTER: TWO WORLDS BECOME ONE. For Geneva Watch Days 2026, BVLGARI crosses a new threshold by partnering for the first time with an independent watchmaker on the Octo Finissimo collection: Vianney Halter. It is a first for this iconic collection — never before has an independent watchmaker worked from the Octo Finissimo's iconic movement as the foundation for his own vision. The joint design by Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Product Creation Executive Director at BVLGARI, and Vianney Halter takes the Octo Finissimo into uncharted territory: a retrofuture somewhere between the Victorian era and science fiction, inspired by Jules Verne and precision engineering.

Vianney Halter stands apart in haute horlogerie. Passionate about aviation, mechanics and graphic novels, this independent watchmaker with an immediately recognisable style creates pieces that are as much mechanical sculptures as timekeepers. His aesthetic — composed of industrial details, multiple displays and three-dimensional architectural complexity — has made him one of the most singular and collected personalities of his generation.

"With Vianney Halter, we found common ground immediately. The result merges two universes while keeping both instantly recognisable. The rigorous geometry of the Octo Finissimo case enhances the construction of independent dials, characteristic of Vianney Halter; the ultra-thin movement integrates new functions while preserving the distinctive qualities that have earned its reputation among watch enthusiasts," explains Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Product Creation Executive Director.

The Octo Finissimo Dual Time × Vianney Halter sacrifices nothing of one identity for the other. The geometric DNA and proportional discipline of the Octo Finissimo remain fully present, while Vianney Halter's signature asserts itself with immediate authority: four opaline white dials — the watchmaker's emblematic colour — characteristically shaped hands in blue, a red arrow seconds hand, and a rotor engraved with Vianney Halter's signature.

Behind this exceptional aesthetic lies considerable technical complexity. The 40.5 mm case comprises more than 50 components. Manufactured in-house across the workshops of Saignelégier and Le Sentier, the timepiece is powered by the new BVF 200 calibre — only 5.49 mm thick, with automatic winding via micro-rotor and 60 hours of power reserve — enriched with specific modules developed for this collaboration to integrate GMT, Date and Day/Night functions. Miniaturising components necessitated the creation of entirely dedicated manufacturing tools, a feat that testifies to the level of rigour BVLGARI imposed upon itself to realise Vianney Halter's vision. Despite this unprecedented complexity, the watch preserves the Octo Finissimo's signature proportions: 40.5 mm in diameter for just 9.70 mm of thickness.

TWO EXCEPTIONAL ITERATIONS. The collaboration comes in two exclusive versions, both limited editions. The first, in brushed titanium, lends the watch a mineral elegance that highlights the richness of the four opaline dials — limited to 30 pieces, paired with a brushed titanium integrated bracelet with deployant clasp. The second, in polished satin rose gold, brings a luminous warmth that dialogues with the opaline dials and brown alligator bracelet — limited to 15 pieces, the most precious interpretation of this singular union.

BVLGARI OCTO FINISSIMO DAZZLE: THE ART OF ILLUSION. The Octo Finissimo Dazzle begins with a radical idea: to create a watch that defies its own legibility. The geometric pattern covering the entire titanium case seems to dissolve the Octo Finissimo's lines in an intriguing optical illusion, leaving only the outline visible — as if the watch itself sought to disappear into its own design. Its finish draws directly from automotive camouflage, a technique used by manufacturers to conceal a vehicle's true silhouette during road testing by wrapping its bodywork in fragmented geometric patterns that confuse the eye. BVLGARI transposed this principle of visual disruption onto the Octo Finissimo's 40 mm case, with dial and integrated bracelet becoming one. Only the contours remain, asserting a paradoxical presence between revelation and concealment. Limited to 80 pieces.

"The Octo Finissimo Dazzle embodies the fusion of aesthetics and functionality. The watch almost completely relinquishes its primary function — telling the time — and transforms into something else through a texture that flows into the design. All is hidden, camouflaged, integrated into a pattern of square elements that represent the module on which the case and bracelet geometry rests. Only the bezel is spared — because it captures the collection's very essence," explains Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani. To give form to this vision, BVLGARI turned to laser engraving mastered in-house — the engraving is not applied decoration, it is the watch itself, transformed from within by light and materials.

With the Octo Finissimo Dazzle, BVLGARI affirms its conviction that haute horlogerie is also an art of image, perception and interpretation. Having explored metaphysical depth with Lee Ufan, the poetry of the desert with Mattar Bin Lahej, architectural clarity with Kazuyo Sejima and Tadao Ando's minimalist aesthetic, the Maison now ventures into the territory of optical illusion and blurred identity.

BVLGARI TITANIO: POWER AND LIGHTNESS. BVLGARI Aluminium unveils a new facet of its character with two watches forged in grade 5 titanium, uniting the collection's iconic design with the avant-garde aesthetic of an alloy with exceptional qualities. Since BVLGARI Aluminium redefined the codes of luxury sport watches in 1998 with its unprecedented pairing of aluminium and rubber, the Titanio GMT and Titanio Chronograph write a new chapter — sculpted in brushed titanium, where the deep matte grey tones of the metal dialogue with jet black rubber.

The BVLGARI Titanio GMT presents a refined and modern interpretation of the 24-hour GMT function in a 40 mm case with perfectly balanced proportions. From case to bracelet, it explores the complementary interplay between the deep grey of titanium and the jet black of rubber, on a dial alternating matte and glossy finishes with white indices and grey Super-LumiNova hands. Powered by the automatic B192 calibre with 50 hours of power reserve, it is made for every journey.

For BVLGARI, precision is also a matter of style. The new BVLGARI Titanio Chronograph adopts a black-and-grey dial where deep matte black is set against grey hands, with redesigned chronograph counters and a tachymeter scale. In its 41 mm titanium case with black rubber bezel beats the BVLGARI B381 automatic chronograph calibre with 42 hours of power reserve — not just a chronograph, but a BVLGARI style statement.
